Pamela Pecko is a native of the Philadelphia area where she completed advanced musical studies finishing with honours at the University of the Arts.  In 1988, she moved to Budapest, Hungary for five years' post-graduate music studies at the Franz Liszt Music Academy.

For the past eighteen years Pamela has earned acclaim in the international school circuit as a dynamic instrumental, choral, and general music teacher. She has served in schools in Hungary, Portugal, the US, England, Kenya, Turkey, and Poland.

A classically trained flutist, Pamela has performed in a wide variety of ensembles and forums as both flutist and vocalist, and has organized and performed in professional recitals in the US, England, Kenya, Turkey, Mexico, and Poland.  As a founding member of the Nairobi-based chamber music group Syrinx, she recitaled extensively in Kenya, including frequent engagements at the French Cultural Center there.  In 2001 and again in 2002 Pamela was a guest soloist with the Nairobi Orchestra.  Recent performances include recitals in Cappadocia, Turkey (July 2007), Ankara, Turkey (March 2008), and Warsaw, Poland (May 2008). 

Pamela resides in London, England, where she continues both her career in music education at ACS International School, Hillingdon, and as a performer with an especial focus in jazz vocals.
